In order to protect people from broken glass, safety requirements – set by legislators and insurance companies – are to be met. Said requirements can be fulfilled by the use of so-called safety glass. Safety glass may consist of single layer toughened glass (ESG), a multi-layer laminated glass (VSG) or a combination of both depending on the situation.
Safety glass is used both for façade as well as interior application. It is always the first choice where safety and personal protection as well as aesthetics and design are concerned.
